JOSH SOSKIN

Josh Soskin became a filmmaker when at the age of 21 he lost all his hair to Alopecia. At the time he was working as an actor in LA, so to continue his passion for storytelling he got behind the camera. His short films, music videos, and ads have won several film festival and industry awards including an Emmy.

Josh’s first screenplay “Kill Yr Idols” won the comedy endowment at the Sundance Labs in 2022. He is currently in preproduction on his directorial feature debut titled “The Rooster Prince” – a road trip dramedy about two brothers based on his own experience of losing his brother to Bipolar.

Josh is also a successful photographer specializing in 35mm film photography. His work has been shown in galleries around the world.
